MotionDesktop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to valid notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
If you believe that content on MotionDesktop infringes your copyright, please complete the form below. False DMCA claims are a serious legal matter — please only submit if you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Requirements for a Valid Notice
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The URL of the infringing material on MotionDesktop.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Submit a Takedown Notice
Counter-Notification
If content you uploaded was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Counter-notifications must be submitted to legal@motiondesktop.com and must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, MotionDesktop has adopted a policy of terminating accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
