Downloads
Wallpapers come in various resolutions uploaded by creators — from standard 1080p (1920×1080) to ultra-wide and 4K/8K. Each wallpaper shows its resolution in the listing so you can find what fits your screen.
Wallpapers on MotionDesktop are for personal use only unless the creator specifically states otherwise in the description. For commercial use, please contact the creator directly.
Static wallpapers are available as JPG or PNG. Live wallpapers are MP4 video files. Animated wallpapers are GIF format. All formats play natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Uploading
Create a free account, then click the Upload button in the navigation. You can upload images (JPG/PNG), video files (MP4), or animated GIFs. Add a title, description, resolution, category, and tags to help people discover your work.
Images: JPG or PNG, max 20MB, minimum 1280×720. Videos: MP4, max 100MB, HD recommended. GIFs: max 20MB. All uploads must comply with our Terms of Service — no NSFW, copyrighted, or illegal content.
Uploads can be rejected for violating our content guidelines (NSFW, copyright issues), being too low resolution, having poor quality, or technical format issues. If you believe your upload was incorrectly rejected, contact us.
XP & Levels
You earn XP (experience points) through community interactions: uploading wallpapers, receiving likes and downloads, getting comments, following other users, and more. The more your content resonates with the community, the faster you level up.
There are 7 levels: Newcomer → Explorer → Artist → Creator → Master → Elite → Legend. Each level unlocks a unique badge and color shown next to your username.
Yes! Visit the Leaderboards page to see the top creators ranked by XP, uploads, downloads, and likes.
Account & Privacy
Account deletion is handled through our support team. Contact us with your username and the email address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion within 5 business days.
Click the share/report button on any wallpaper page or contact us directly with the URL of the content you'd like reported. We review all reports within 24 hours.
Use our dedicated DMCA takedown form. Provide the infringing URL and proof of your original work. We process all valid DMCA requests within 72 hours.
